Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia – Sale!
Happy weekend! How’s everyone’s Halloween hangover treating them? Did the “Switch Witch” come to your house yet? I just heard about her and freaking love this idea. If you’re like me and new to the whole “Switch Witch” game, here’s the deal: she is a friendly witch who visits your house on Halloween night while they are sleeping (or I think you can do any night shortly after Halloween) and will exchange Halloween candy for a special toy. The idea is that your kids are opting in to this trade therefore making her a good witch, and not just some B who is stealing their candy. And of course you and your kids (or maybe just you) can decide if the toy is in exchange for all the candy, all but 10 favorites pieces, etc. Pretty clever if you ask me. I’m going to throw out the idea to my littles today and see how they respond. I anticipate a reluctant “okaaaay” from Chase, and a LOT of questions from Kendall about this witch. Where is she from? Does she ride on a broom? How does she get into the house? What does she do with the candy? Valid questions that by question #8 I will likely cave and offer her a piece of candy to change the subject. So now I know I need to keep enough candy around to continue bribes through Christmas. Noted.
Anyway let’s get to the other good stuff! I just got back from Target and was pleasantly surprised by the large section of the Hearth & Hand products on CLEARANCE. Last year when reigning Lord and Lady of design, Chip and Joanna Gaines (or JoJo as I like to call her), released their affordable product line with Target, I was so thrilled that I splurged on a few holiday pieces at full price – which were still drastically more affordable that products on their flagship Magnolia website. Well now their already affordable line has a number of super cute items on major discount! Here are some of my favorites from the sale:
I’ve had my eye on this pitcher since it first came out, now it’s 35% off and only $13!
These items are also 35% off
This gardening caddy is 45% off and under $20!!! I’m reserving it in my local store now!
This throw is just about the best deal around. It isn’t showing online, but it was on clearance in my store for under $25. But even at full price, for $35 this is a no brainer. It is exponentially softer and more attractive than my IKEA throw that was also around $20. And given that throws can run well into three figures (cough Serena and Lily $268 throw… cough) this is a STEAL.
And this was $2.99… that’s basically free.
So here’s my loot, all for around $40.
I mean… come on!!! Who doesn’t love a good sale??? 🙂
