Kendall’s Big Girl Room – One Room Challenge – Week 5
Goodness gracious I feel like each week that goes by I have less and less time to work on this room – and even less time to blog about it. On Sunday we took a quick family trip down to Monterey to check out the Aquarium and Gilroy Gardens – both were a hit! That is until Chase spiked a 104 degree temperature our last night there. Poor guy! He’s feeling better and we are in deep planning mode to get ready for his 3rd birthday Saturday. A good amount of that includes sorting through all the Amazon and other boxes sitting by my front door that hold a combination of light fixtures, wall decor, and party decorations. I have to say it is a little overwhelming trying to plan two birthday parties in the midst of the ORC! The good thing is that as far as the hard work goes on the room, I’m 90% done. Here’s what’s been accomplished:
- Stencil Wall
- Wallpaper
- Curtains
- Furniture arrangement
- Wall art and decor orders
And here’s what is left to do:
- Hang chandelier
- Hang and style wall shelves
- Organize and hang gallery wall
