My Master Bedroom REVEAL Part 1: The Window Nook

My Master Bedroom REVEAL Part 1: The Window Nook

OMG OMG OMG OMG.  I am SO FREAKING EXCITED to finally share with you my bedroom project!!!  I am still waiting on a couple more little things for other parts of the room, but I couldn’t wait to share this sweet little nook that is DONE!  This portion on the makeover cost me UNDER $300, no lie.  Here’s why it was so cheap.

  1.  I opted for a wall stencil instead of wallpaper.  This probably saved my around $500.  While it took much longer, it was worth the savings. Read more about my wall stencil experience HERE!
  2. I up-cycled things I already had.  The chairs, pillows, throw, and wall art (hello wallpaper scraps!) were all things I already had.
  3. I waited for sales.  Cost Plus had a banging sale and I was able to snag several items at 30% off.  If I have my eye on something I ALWAYS wait for sales.

So without further ado, here you go!

Here are the deets:

Walls:  Swiss Coffee by Kelly Moore

Stencil Paint:  2/3 Arrowhead, 1/3 Beetle Black Satin Acrylic Paint by Martha Stewart

Stencil:  Rhombus Wall Stencil by StenCilit

Chairs:  Wayfair

Table:  Cost Plus

Throw Pillows:  Pier 1

Throw Blanket:  Madewell (this is actually a scarf!)

Wall Art:  Frame is old from IKEA, art is wallpaper scraps!

Total I paid for this part of the room:  $280!!!!  It just does NOT get any better than that!  And now we have a sweet little nook where we can relax and enjoy a cappuccino like this guy.

I’ll take more pictures when it’s not quite so bright outside, I was just too excited to share.  Happy weekend everyone!
